Badminton School

Badminton School is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3 – 18. We offer a holistic approach to education; learning is fun at Badminton and this, coupled with our homely community and excellent pastoral care, leaves no scope for anonymity. Your daughter will be known and fully supported in whatever her talents or interests may be.

We often get asked what the characteristics of a Badminton girl are and the truth is, there is no one ‘type’! Badminton girls are treated like the individuals that they are; we inspire them to pursue their own interests and expand and explore their ambitions, both in their academic work and in co-curricular activities. The School consistently achieves impressive academic results which enables the girls to access a wealth of world class universities, but the real aim is to encourage the girls to become curious, confident and enthusiastic lifelong learners.

We take full advantage of being situated in such an exciting, cosmopolitan city such as Bristol. Boasting two of the largest universities in the country, our girls benefit from attending university lectures and taking part in industry-run competitions, as well as participating in events run by the local business community. All of this, alongside an enormous range of activities in School, ensure terms fly by before girls are safely escorted home to London and neighbouring airports.
