Horris Hill

2007.jpg

Horris Hill is one of a small group of very special schools that have remained true to their traditions: all‑boys, 7 to 13, and predominantly full boarding. Horris Hill is small (able to retain a remarkable atmosphere), busy (fully staffed all week) and highly academic. Boys are taught by ability rather than year group, moving up as they master requisite subjects. The school has traditions that can be found in a family‑owned school with the ambition of a town school and the fun that comes from being situated in 85 acres with great facilities. Academic scholarships are the norm to top senior schools such as Eton, Winchester and Harrow. A full range of sports is available, including swimming (we have our own fully heated outdoor pool), athletics, golf (we have our own nine hole golf course), judo, orienteering, tennis and badminton. Our major sports are football, rugby, hockey and cricket.
